About Carl Curreri

Carl Curreri, owner of Carl’s Barber Shop, started cutting hair in San Francisco in 1968, where he worked for 30 years. During the latter part of his time in San Francisco, he owned his own shop, The Barbary Cutter located at The Sheraton at Fisherman’s Wharf, which operated for 23 years. In 1999, he moved his barbering to Pleasant Hill, CA where he purchased Nat’s Barber Shop on Contra Costa Blvd., and renamed it Carl’s Barber Shop. In 2003 he relocated to his current location in Martinez CA.
